1. The Promoter

  1. The promoter of these skill-based competitions (“Competitions”) is the operator of the PassporttoParadise.App website (the “Website”), with the registered address at [coming soon] (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our” in these terms and conditions).

2. The Competitions

  1. These terms and conditions (the “T&Cs”) apply to all Competitions listed on the Website. These T&Cs govern all interactions between the Promoter and participants. References to a “Competition” in these T&Cs mean either a Standard Competition or an Instant Win Competition, as specified on the Website.

  2. In case of any conflict between these T&Cs and information presented on the Website or in promotional materials, these T&Cs shall prevail.

3. How to Enter

  1. Competitions will be open for entry during the dates specified on the Website (“Opening Date” and “Closing Date”). All times and dates mentioned are in London, England time.

  2. The Promoter reserves the right to modify the Opening Date and/or Closing Date if necessary. Any changes will be posted on the Website, and the Closing Date will not be extended solely for the purpose of selling more entries.

  3. All entries must be received by the Promoter by the specified Closing Date. Entries received after this time will be disqualified, and no refunds will be issued.

  4. The maximum number of entries allowed for each Competition will be stated on the Website. Entry limits may be imposed if the maximum number of entries is reached.

  5. Entry limits, including free entries, are specified per person per Competition. Additional details on entry limits can be found on the relevant Competition webpage on the Website.

  6. To enter a Standard Competition using the paid entry route, follow these steps: a. Visit the Website and select the Standard Competition. b. Provide the correct answer to the Competition Question. c. Select the desired number of entries and proceed to checkout. d. Log in or register (if not already logged in). e. Agree to the T&Cs and complete the purchase.

  7. To enter an Instant Win Competition using the paid entry route, follow these steps: a. Visit the Website and select the Instant Win Competition. b. Select the desired number of entries and proceed to checkout. c. Log in or register (if not already logged in). d. Agree to the T&Cs and complete the purchase.

  8. Use of PayPal is restricted to individuals over 18 years old and mainland UK residents only. Refer to PayPal’s terms and conditions for specific details.

  9. Upon purchasing a Competition entry online, the Promoter will send confirmation of the received entry.

  10. The Promoter is not responsible for incomplete or delayed entries due to any cause, including technical malfunctions, equipment failures, or other issues.

  11. By purchasing entries and/or submitting a Competition entry, you confirm eligibility, acknowledge entering into a contract with the Promoter, and agree to abide by these T&Cs.

  12. You can enter a Competition (whether Standard or Instant Win) for free by meeting the following conditions: a. Send your entry by pre-paid first or second-class post to the Promoter at the following address: [Coming soon!]. b. Hand-delivered entries will not be accepted and will be disqualified. c. Include the following information with your entry:

    • Competition details you wish to enter.
    • Your full name.
    • Date of birth.
    • Postal address.
    • Contact telephone number and email address.
    • Your answer to any Competition Question. d. Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified. e. You may submit multiple free entries for a Competition, up to the entry limit imposed by the Promoter. However, each free entry must be sent separately. Bulk entries in one envelope or postcard will not be counted as multiple entries. f. Your free entry for a Standard Competition must reach the Promoter before the Closing Date and before all Competition tickets are allocated. Entries received within 48 hours after the Closing Date or after all tickets have been sold/allocated may be entered into the next available Competition at the Promoter’s discretion. g. For free entries into an Instant Win Competition, your entry must be received before all tickets are sold/allocated or, if not all are sold/allocated, within 48 hours after the Closing Date.
  13. Entrants must have a registered account on the website/app to process a free entry, and all details must match the account information.

4. Choosing a Winner

  1. For Standard Competitions, Winners will be selected through a random draw from Entrants who correctly answered the Competition Question. The draw will occur within 7 days of the Closing Date (“Draw Date”).

  2. Names and entry numbers of Standard Competition Entrants may be published on the Website during the live draw. To opt-out of having your name included in this publication, contact the Promoter at hideme@passporttoparadise.app at least 48 hours before the live draw.

  3. For Instant Win Competitions, prizes are allocated randomly to numbers in a spreadsheet. Each paid entry into the Instant Win Competition that correctly answers the Competition Question is randomly assigned a number in the spreadsheet. If the number matches a prize, the Entrant wins that prize.

  4. Paid Entrants will be notified of their status immediately after entry submission, including information about the prize won if applicable.

  5. Free entries into Instant Win Competitions will be randomly assigned a number upon receipt by the Promoter. Successful Entrants will receive an automated email notification to the contact email address provided with their entry. Unsuccessful free entry participants will not be notified.

  6. Winners, as determined in sections 4.1 and 4.3 above, will be individually referred to as a “Winner,” collectively as the “Winners.”

5. Eligibility

  1. Skill-Based Competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland who are 18 years of age or older, except for the following:

    a. Employees of the Promoter. b. Employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter who are professionally associated with the competition. c. Members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

  2. By participating in a Competition, you confirm eligibility, acknowledge entering into a contract with the Promoter, and agree to abide by these T&Cs.

  3. The Promoter will not accept entries that are:

    a. Automatically generated by computer. b. Incomplete.

  4. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify individuals if their conduct contradicts the spirit or intention of the competition, including rude or abusive behavior toward the Promoter or its associates.

  5. Except as noted in section 11.3 below, no refunds of the entry fee will be given under any circumstances, including situations where:

    a. An Entrant is found to be ineligible to enter the competition. b. An Entrant’s entry does not meet the requirements of these T&Cs.

6. Prizes

  1. The prizes for each Skill-Based Competition are clearly described on the Website (the “Prize”). Prizes may consist of holiday packages or cash alternatives, as specified for each Competition.

  2. Prizes are subject to availability, and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a Prize with a Prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

  3. All prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant suppliers, manufacturers, and/or service providers.

  4. We reserve the right to withdraw or substitute prizes at any time, without notice or liability, for reasons beyond our control.

  5. Prizes will only be delivered to addresses within mainland UK and the Republic of Ireland, as specified in section 6.6 below.

  6. It is the responsibility of the Winner to provide correct and complete delivery address information. If the Winner fails to do so, we will not be held responsible for any loss or misdirection of the Prize.

  7. We will make reasonable efforts to contact the Winner. If a Winner cannot be reached within 7 days of the Draw Date, the Prize may be forfeited, and an alternate Winner may be selected.

  8. If the Winner chooses the cash alternative prize option, the prize amount will be transferred to the Winner’s nominated bank account within 7 days of the Winner confirming their choice.

7. Winner Announcement and Prize Delivery

  1. Winners will be notified promptly after their selection via the contact details provided during the entry process. The Winner will be required to confirm acceptance of the Prize within 7 days of notification.

  2. We will arrange for the delivery of the Prize to the Winner within 7 days of the Winner’s acceptance of the Prize.

  3. If the Winner fails to claim the Prize or is unable to use it within the specified time frame, the Prize may be forfeited, and an alternate Winner may be selected.

8. Data Protection and Privacy

  1. We will collect, process, and use your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on the Website. By entering a Competition, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

  1. By participating in a Competition, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use any content or materials you submit in connection with the Competition, including your name, likeness, and any statements or testimonials you provide.

10. Limitation of Liability

  1. We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense incurred in connection with the Competitions, except where such liability cannot be excluded or limited by law.

  3. These T&Cs are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with these T&Cs or the Competitions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

  4. If any provision of these T&Cs is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
